Our house
Enjoy the magnificent Zugspitze-arena in the newly renovated Chalet La Bosch in Ehrwald, Tirol. Ehrwald, directly across the border from Garmisch Partenkirchen, is in the middle of the well known and loved Zugspitze-arena. A beautiful valley directly at the bottom of the Zugspitze.
La Bosch is centrally located and is only a 15-minute walk to the center of Ehrwald. The nearest ski slope is only 1 minute by car and a 10-minute walk away. The free bus service is available to take you to the ski slope or into the village. Not only that, the bus can also take you to the starting point of a beautiful walk, the train station or villages in the area.
The Chalet
Chalet La Bosch is located just outside the center of Ehrwald, a stone’s throw from the valley station of the Almbahn. The house is located in a cul de dac and therefore has a wonderfully quiet location. And has an added bonus of a sun facing position. It has a beautiful panoramic view on the Grubigstein, the Daniel and the Sonnenspitze.
In the sheltered garden of the chalet setting you can hear the idyllic babbling brook. On the sunny terrace you can enjoy a delicious dinner or a nice drink on one of the sultry summer evenings. Or you can have delicious fresh bread rolls delivered every day and start your day with a tasty breakfast on the spacious terrace. In winter, the garden offers a wonderland setting for a real winter barbecue.
The chalet was completely renovated in 2021 into a modern chalet of approx. 78 m2 with 3 bedrooms (max 7 people). The house has an open living with kitchen, 2 bathrooms, ample storage options and a heated cloakroom for storing skis, ski and hiking boots. The garden is at the back of the house and offers a lot of privacy.
Lay-out
The entrance is at the front of the house. You walk into the house passed the heated cloakroom. In the hall is the toilet, the master bedroom with a double bed and ample storage space. From this bedroom you enter the small terrace at the front of the house.
The second bedroom on this floor is suitable for 2 people. It has 2 single beds (1 of bed is accessible via a small staircase).
The chalet has two bathrooms. The first one has a shower, a sink and a toilet. The second bathroom has a shower and a sink.
On the 1st floor you will find the living/dining room with an open kitchen. The bright sitting area has a comfortable corner sofa and a cozy fireplace. Through the patio doors in the living room you have access to the large and sunny terrace (South-West) which is equipped with garden furniture. The terrace can also be entered from the hall.
In the dining area you will find a traditional Austrian round seat with a beautiful, spacious dining table.
The kitchen is equipped with a complete inventory, dishwasher, induction cooker, fridge with freezer compartment and a convection oven.
There is also a 3rd bedroom on the 1st floor. This is a 3-person bedroom with a 2-person box bed on the loft (accessible via a small staircase) and a 1-person bed in the lower part of the bedroom. Here also there is ample storage space
